    Tipper 2.1

    Tipper 2.1 is in the works. We initially were only going to make some minor bug fixes and performance enhancements but then got a negative review from a user who liked the way Tipper 1.0 looked. We thought the new 2.0 look was an improvement, but apparently not to everyone.

    So we are adding support for themes! In Tipper 2.1 you will be able to choose between Classic(1.0) and Guest Check(2.0). In addition to re-adding the “Classic” UI we are adding some improvements to this interface as well.

    1. The touch area to bring up the number pad is much larger, a little more then half the screen.
    2. Support for international money symbols.
    3. You can now touch and drag in the star and people ratings to change the number of stars or people.

    It’s kinda funny I just finished watching the Stanford iPhone talk by Jessica Kahn were she stresses listening to your users and their ratings :) So here we are, listening to our users :) Hopefully this helps the ratings.

    Aside from just ratings this is also a cool feature that we probably would never have added. The two themes work differently enough that I think people will have a clear distinction of the theme they like, this might also help us differentiate from other tip calculators on the App Store…
